Henry Suzuki is a passionate filmmaker from Brazil, currently based in the U.S., with a strong focus on producing and cinematography—driven by a lifelong love for visual storytelling and photography. As an international student now on OPT, Henry earned his BFA in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts from Ithaca College, where his dedication was recognized through multiple honors, including the First Gen Leadership Award, First Gen Impact Award, the Chávez/Lorde BIPOC Award, and several scholarships throughout his four years.
Henry brings particular enthusiasm and expertise to producing, having led a range of short film productions. He excels at managing crews, schedules, locations, meetings, and deadlines with precision and a collaborative spirit. Known for his strong organizational skills, creativity, and calm problem-solving approach, Henry fosters productive, positive work environments. His experience also includes contract negotiation, funding acquisition, and cross-departmental coordination—ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to delivery.
Behind the camera, Henry's artistic voice comes alive. Whether in cinematography or photography, he uses composition, movement, angles, and aspect ratios to shape emotion and meaning—crafting stories that resonate both visually and emotionally.
Among his notable work, Henry collaborated with the camera team on the feature film Jacked 1980s, deepening his skills in professional cinematography and on-set production. He was selected as Director of Photography for a behind-the-scenes shoot for a Coca-Cola student commercial, and has contributed to numerous projects through Park Productions, including work with Ithaca College and the Park Center for Independent Media.
